  • This is a step-by-step instruction guide on how to connect The Urinator Bluetooth to your Android device
  • First things first you’ll need to download and install the body temp 98 app. This is available on the Google Play Store for Android users.
  • Once you’ve got the app downloaded and installed
  • Go ahead and tap on the body temp 98 icon.
  • It will probably ask for your permission to discover nearby devices make sure to press allow
  • This allows the app to find and connect with your Urinator Bluetooth device
  • Now that we have the app ready let’s get our Urinator device connected
  • Install two new Duracell batteries into the device then press the pairing button the red light should be blinking once it is connected to the phone then it will stay on solid
  • You will see the device name show up
  • Press connect within 10 seconds and you should be connected
  • This brings us to the main display there you will see a dial that constantly updates every 10 seconds showing the fluid temperature inside the bag yellow means it’s too cold green means it’s at the proper testing temperature and red means it’s too hot
  • Above the dial you’ll notice the heat pad status it’s a handy way to check if you’ve turned it off in the settings
  • Now press the gear icon on the upper right screen this will take you to the settings menu there you can customize The Urinator device to best suit your needs.
  • Let’s start by renaming our device.
  • I’ve named mine ‘earbud’ but you can choose any name you like.
  • After typing in the new name and hitting save the device will disconnect.
  • No worries, just press the pairing button again and the new name will appear on your phone screen by default.
  • The heating pad is on but you can turn it off by tapping the blue slider icon
  • A warning message will pop up just to make sure you really want to turn it off
  • Next are the phone vibration options by default they’re all turned on the temperature good option will vibrate your phone for a tenth of a second every 3 minutes when the testing temperature is reached discreetly letting you know the temperature is correct without you having to look at your phone
  • The disconnection option will vibrate your phone four times in quick succession to let you know the device has lost its Connection in the event of a disconnection a popup will appear on the screen to notify you.
  • You must press the pairing button on the device again to reestablish a connection
  • Remember that if you ever have a problem with your connection and need to use The Urinator immediately, just slide the Bluetooth switch located on the device to the off position the red light will go out and the device will act just like a normal Urinator
  • It will automatically maintain proper testing temperature
