Is your Urinator BT Disconnecting .

Does your Urinator BT the Bluetooth model connect to your phone with no problems but whenever you go into another app on your phone you are suddenly disconnected or if you set your phone down for a while when you come back you have been disconnected from your Urinator Bluetooth device

If so then here are a few tips that you may want to try. Maybe one of these will fix your problem.

These instructions are for a Samsung s22 Ultra however generally these instructions apply to most smartphones go to your main screen and swipe down click on the gear icon to go to settings scroll down to apps from there either type in body temp 98 or scroll down to find the app Body temp 98.

Open the settings for the app there you will see the permission that should say

  • nearby devices this is necessary for the program to find The Urinator BT device.
  • Now go down to mobile data and press enter you need to allow background data usage and allow data usage while data saver is on. Otherwise when you exit the body temp 98 app and go into another app the phone will disconnect with the device.
  • Now press the back arrow on the upper left screen and return to the main app settings.
  • Then go into battery setting make sure and have the battery settings selection as unrestricted. Otherwise if you don’t use your phone for a few hours your phone may think you don’t need this app running and turn it off.
  • Now press the back arrow on the upper left screen and return to the main app settings now go into the storage settings. There you have the option to clear cache and data.
  • I personally clear both cach and data.
  • Just to make sure you can clear the cache it will most likely fix your problem however if you want you can clear the data.
  • When you do this it will act like a new install so when you return to the main app settings and look at permissions you will see that the nearby devices has been replaced with no permissions allowed.
  • Whenever you try and run the app again you will have to allow Body temp 98 to connect to nearby devices.
  • Again if all else fails you can uninstall the app and then reboot your phone and reinstall the app again.
